A CONISBOROUGH trio are taking part in a cycling marathon to raise money for charity.
Wayne Bulcroft, 30, of Prior Road, is cycling the equivalent distance of a marathon which is just over 26 miles to raise money for St John’s Ambulance.
He will take part in the cycling challenge with his friends Michael McGuckin, 31, and Dale Phillips, 45.
Wayne says they wanted to raise money for St John’s Ambulance because they think it is a very worthwhile cause.
“St John’s Ambulance provides such a vital service, but I think because they don’t get the sort of exposure that other charities do, people can take what they do for granted. Which is why I’m happy to raise this money for them and keep fit at the same time,” he said.
Wayne and his friends have pledged to raise over £1,600 each for the charity, and to donate please visit http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/WayneBulcroft
