PASSENGERS due to fly from Doncaster’s Robin Hood Airport are being advised to check with their airline before departing because of an ash cloud.
Airport bosses have said this morning that the majority of flights to and from Finningley were unlikely to be affected by the eruption of a volcano in Iceland, however, this could change at short notice.
Those due to fly are advised keep an eye on the latest news reports and weather forecasts as the situation can change at short notice and check flight information direct with their airline or tour operator. The airport is advising passengers to check preferably via websites as phone lines may be busy.
Passengers must arrive at the airport as normal unlesss airlines or tour operators say their flights are affected.
