Lorry fire closes M180 near Doncaster as dramatic photo shows smoke drifting across carriageway

The motorway was blocked westbound between junctions one, for Tudworth, and two, for Woodhouse, as the fire sent smoke drifting across the carriageway.
Highways England said shortly before 2pm today, Friday, July 24, that traffic near Thorne remained stopped while firefighters continued to battle the blaze.
Updating drivers at around 2.30pm, it said the fire was under control and it was preparing to reopen the motorway.
