POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash which lead to three people being taken to hospital earlier this week.
The incident took place on the A161 about four miles south of Crowle and it involved a white Ford Transit minibus and a white Vauxhall Astra van.
The road was blocked while all three emergency services attended the scene and three casulaties were taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital for treatment to non life threatening injuries.
Both vehicles were also badly damaged in the incident which took place on Monday, February 13, at about 5pm.
Firefighters from the Crowle Station made one of the vehicles safe by disconnecting the battery and the crew also cleared debris away from the carriageway.

• Neighbourhood officers in Axholme North reported five incident calls during January.
This included two males who were arrested for the theft of diesel, the reported theft of a pedal cycle and a group of revellers creating noise during New Year celebrations.
A female also acted in a disorderly manner during the early hours of New Year’s Day and some dead game birds found in the Market Place were collected by North Lincolnshire Council for disposal.
There were also calls relating to youth antisocial behaviour in the Church street area, outside the youth club, with eggs and small missiles being thrown at a nearby property.
