What facilities does the pub offer: A large bar area, lounge, a 72 seater restaurant, 14 ensuite bedrooms, pool table and beer garden.
What beers do you sell?: John Smith Smooth, Kings Smooth, Batemans XB, Carling and Carling Extra Cold, Stella, Coors Light, Strongbow and Guinness.
Special nights: A free to enter quiz every Thursday from 9.30pm with cash prizes for the first place and runners up. There is also a karaoke every Friday between 8.30pm-midnight.
What food is served?: It is all traditional English food, although there is curry and chilli available too. A teatime special is available with two main meals for £12. There is a Thursday night carvery 5-9pm and Sunday carvery noon-7.30pm. On Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday the dinner time special is three courses for £4.95. The restaurant opens: Monday 5-9pm, Tuesday to Friday noon-2pm and 5-9pm, Saturday 5-8.30pm, Sunday noon-7.30pm.
What is your favourite tipple?: Paul said: “I own a pub and I don’t actually drink. The only time I do is when I go on holiday or go to the races. I’d sooner sell it than drink it. If I do have a drink though my favourite tipple is Carling Extra Cold lager.”
If you go out for a meal where’s your favourite spot?: “We do eat out the odd time,” Paul explained. “We tend to have a Chinese in Epworth or Doncaster, or go for an Indian to the Khyber in Epworth.”
