POLICE officers and a fire crew were called to Doncaster town centre following an argument between a customer and staff.

The dispute happened yesterday shortly after 5pm around Barclays bank in the High Street, the Free Press understands.

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police confirmed the incident and said no arrests or charges were made.

She added: “There was a bit of a dispute with a customer and staff in a privately owned retail store on High Street.”
