IT just Asda be good news for our Scan For Life campaign.

For kind-hearted staff at branches across Doncaster have handed over a cheque for £500 to our appeal to raise cash to fund a new state of the art cancer scanner at Doncaster Royal Infimary.

Due to your fantastic efforts and the generosity of hospital bosses, we were able to unveil the scanner just before Christmas - but funds are still rolling in for the campaign, now just a few thousands of pounds short of its target.

Staff at Asda - including the Grange Lane branch in Rossington - staged a number of events including dressing up in fancy dress for shoppers at Halloween.

Donations can be paid directly into the account at the Co-operative Bank, account number 50326679.
