DEARNE residents are being urged to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation by scaling Yorkshire’s three highest peaks in just one day.
Registration is now open for the BHF’s Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, where participants will climb Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough on Saturday, July 21.
The BHF hopes to raise a total of £70, 000 which will be used to support their pioneering research into preventing heart conditions.
Entry for the event, which is for over 16s only, is £30.
