LIFE is sweet for a Thorne couple who are celebrating the success of their latest sweet-toothed venture.

Their Sweet Success shop in King Edward Road has been open since November last year and with more than 400 varieties of sweets, it’s every kid’s dream come true.

Martin, and Kelly Wells, 35 and 29, of King Edward’s Crescent, are thrilled with the shop’s success nine months since its doors first opened.

Sue Pascoe, Martin’s proud mum, said: “It’s fantastic. Martin is well known as he and Kelly also run an icecream van in the Thorne area.

“It started with selling sweets from the van and they decided to open up a shop and it’s going really well.”

Pear drops, Yorkshire Mix and sour sweets are just a selection of the mouth-watering treats on offer, as well as hot drinks and cold slush drinks.
