Blushing bride Sue Evans wasn’t short of support on her big day with nine bridesmaids by her side to lend a helping hand.

The stresses and strains of getting ready to walk down the aisle were eased for Sue, 47, who got married at St Mary Magdalene’s Church in Campsall to fiance Peter Ridsdale, 47, with nine pairs of hands ready to help.

Sue was spoilt for choice when it came to picking her bridesmaids so decided to opt for nine.

Natalie Blackmore, Sue’s daughter, who was one of the bridesmaids said her mum couldn’t have wished for a better day.

She added: “It was such a lovely day, the service was brilliant and everyone had a really nice time.

“My mum wanted a lot of bridesmaids and didn’t want to leave anyone out so in the end she ended up with nine.”

The happy couple are now relaxing after the big day before honeymooning in Tenerife.
