Success in speech and drama festival

Treading the boards and proving to be in fine voice were students from St Norbert’s Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy in Crowle.

The children recently took part in the annual week-long Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival, followed by several prize winning performances at the Invenio Academy Trophy Concert on the Saturday evening.

Key Stage 2 children won the first prize shield for the Choral Speaking section reciting two poems, ’Little Red Rap’ by Tony Mitten and ‘Slinky Malinki’ by Linley Dodd.
