College students re-enact an RTA at Doncaster College.

GUN and knife crime and road safety were just some of the subjects tackled during a college safety week.

Officers from the police, fire and other emergency services were on hand to offer presentations and demonstrations to students at Doncaster College to show them how to stay safe.

Particular topics included ‘Guns and Knives Take Lives’ where students were able to see some of the weapons armed officers use as well as crash demonstrations the emergency services are likely to deal with.

There were also chip pan fire safety demonstrations, road danger interactive sessions and retail crime talks.
