Store goes green for charity event

Staff at a clothes shop in Doncaster town centre are going green this week for charity.

Employees at the Bon Marche in Market Place are donning green wigs and outfits to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Going the extra mile,, some staff are leaving their car at home and walking to work.

The national scheme called ‘Go Mad, Go Green Fundraising Frenzy for Macmillan Cancer Support’ starts today and runs until Sunday.

Bon Marche employees are hoping to raise £250,000 this year as they celebrate supporting the charity for more than 12 years.
