Women in Doncaster are being urged to grab their last chance to enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life in the borough.
There are just under two weeks before registration for the 5k event at Townfields closes to participants.
Over 1,500 women have already joined the event to run, jog or walk the course on Wednesday, June 19.
But with more than 2,200 taking part last year and raising £152,250 for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work, organisers are hoping to top both those figures this time around.
Sarah Threadgall, event manager for Race for Life in Yorkshire, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that so many women have entered Race for Life in Doncaster. But we still have places left so we are urging women to sign up as soon as possible.”
Every participant gets a donation bag and Gift Aid form as part of their Race for Life entry pack.
Registrations closes on Sunday, June 16.
Sign up for the event by visiting www.raceforlife.org or by calling 0845 600 6050.
