Sports event is a winner

AROUND 60 disabled youngsters from across the borough took part in a variety of sports and had the chance to progress at a regional level.

Young coaches taught pupils from schools, including Coppice Special School and Heatherwood School, athletics and Boccia - a bowls activity.

Talented students from the event at Danum School Technology College were offered the chance to train with regional squads and offered clubs as part of a national School Sport Partnership programme.
