A special service will be held to mark the anniversary of Methodist founder John Wesley’s conversion to the faith.
The Wesley Day Rally will be held on Saturday, May 24, to mark the 1738 date he started his Methodist journey.
A special service to celebrate John and brother Charles, of Epworth, will be held at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church in Epworth on that day at 7.45pm.
The congregation will sing hymns at 8.45pm to mark the time when John Wesley recorded his heart ‘being strangely warmed’.
