A GROUP of volunteers from an educational scheme which offered them a range of college work experience have now graduated.

Family and friends flocked to Doncaster College to see the special ceremony as principal George Trow handed out certificates to the 15 full-time volunteers.

Each of the group were awarded for taking part in the ‘vtalent programme’ offering them the chance to gain work experience in a variety of college placements.

In addition to the certificates, volunteers have gone on to achieve a number of qualifications in studies including counselling and sports coaching.

Following the success of the vtalent programme, an externally funded scheme, the college has put in a volunteering programme into its mainstream provision at the college.
