Two well-known South Yorkshire entrepreneurs are now a month away from facing each other in a charity kickboxing match.

Diamond Live Lounge owner and radio show host, Dominic Gibbs, takes on Bodhi Communications founder, Liam Grady, on May 15.

The match has been organised at the Diamond Live Lounge in aid of supporting Pilgrim Bandits, the charity led by Doncaster Lance Bombardier Ben Parkinson MBE.

Dominic said: “I put myself forward for this fight to raise money. I have had the odd rumble, it was a while ago. I can remember the fight day nerves.”

Dominic has been training at Endeavour Martial Arts , Wood Street, and Silhouette Personal Training Centre, Bentley Road.

Dominic will have Ben on his side as he will accompany him on his ring walk.

Liam said Dominic had convinced him to take part,

He said: “Dominic had spoke about two business men going toe to toe in the ring previously and I wanted to challenge myself.

“I’ve never fought like this before and I am only human so I am sure there may be more than a few nerves on fight night.”

Liam has been doing most of his training at Charles Martin Martial Arts Academy, Beckett Road, but he has also been going to Troy Ultimate Health, Tickhill Road.
