Something for all the family at fair

BALBY’s annual summer fair is set to be a big success.

The event is taking place at the Waverly Community Centre in Church Lane in Balby on Saturday, July 16.

There will be a bouncy castle to entertain the children and refreshments on sale, including homemade jams and cakes.

A raffle and a tombola will also be there, with a guess the weight of the cake game.

Doncaster mayor Peter Davies will open the fun day, which starts at 1pm.

There will be a 20p entrance fee to the summer fair.

All proceeds will go towards the general upkeep of the centre to keep it open to the public.
