Those attending looked on as public transport vehicles used at home and abroad formed an extensive exhibition.

Vehicles which attracted crowds included a 1982 trolleybus used in Marseille, France, a 1949 ‘Sunbeam Karrier’ and a red London bus.

All of the trolleybuses displayed their original service numbers, and some are still in operation today.

Youngsters enjoyed tours aboard the vehicles and even got the chance to sit in the drivers’ seat.
