The class of 2012 was honoured in style as former pupils returned to school to receive awards for their hard work.
South Axholme Academy in Epworth staged its annual presentation night with around 300 leavers and their parents returning for the evening.
Teenagers who sat their GCSEs in 2012 picked up their certificates. In addition there were more than 30 winners of subject and academic trophies, annually presented to students who have shown particular excellence in a given area.
Scott Barlow, assistant headteacher, said: “It was a fantastic evening celebrating the success of one of the best year groups we have had. Congratulations to all the students.”
