THE cream of Doncaster’s top cops have been honoured at a glittering awards ceremony.
Scores of officers gathered for the Doncaster District Police Awards at the Keepmoat Stadium, hosted by South Yorkshire Police to recognise officers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
Officers and civilan workers from across town collected prizes for bravery, investigations and community police from dignitaries including Mayor of Doncaster Peter Davies and newly elected South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner Shaun Wright.
