A MAN who grew up in care wants to help a children’s charity by skydiving.

Les Johns, a claims advisor for One Call Insurance, has rounded up colleagues from the centre in Balby Carr Bank to take the plunge from up to 12,000ft with him. They will be jumping in aid of ChildLine.

Mr Johns said: “To raise money to help those who cannot help themselves has a special place in my heart.”

They will jump on June 19 from Nottinghamsghire’s Langar Airfield. Visit www.justgiving.com/OneCallInsurance
