Two sisters took giant jumps in memory of Epworth cancer victim Alexander Strong.

Jade and Lyndsey McConnachie, whose parents Ian and Jeanette run the Oceans 52 fish bar in High Street, completed sponsored skydives from 15,000 feet at Hibaldstow Airfield. Jade, 33, and Lyndsey, 32, wore T-shirts sporting the slogan ‘Jump for Lex, Jump for Life’ and were cheered on by the Strongs and Alex’s best friend James Fanthorpe. Maxine Strong said: “It was wonderful - I had tears in my eyes.” The sisters hope to have raised over £1,300.
