Sheffield team speeds to F1 finals
The engineering students from Bradfield School sped through the ranks of the worldwide competition with their scaled down, but F1 accurate, racing car. The car’s design had to take account of aerodynamics and technical regulations.
With support from Gripple Automation, the boys were able to use hi-tech prototype equipment to produce plastic car body parts. Gripple also provided display materials, t-shirts and jackets for the team, who dubbed themselves Steel Racing.
