Health staff will be at Doncaster Market next week to give advice on contraception and sexual health services in the borough.
Staff who work for TriHealth, a new integrated sexual health service which was recently launched in the borough by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (DBHFT) and Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), will be in the New Market Square, outside the Corn Exchange, on Tuesday, May 19, from 9am talking to shoppers about the service and the support available.
The new service is for adults aged 19-plus and is commissioned by Doncaster Public Health.
Alison Jones, a TriHealth Contraception and Sexual Health Nurse/Chlamydia Screening Co-ordinator, said: “Come along and see us. We are at the Love Your Local Market event and can talk to shoppers on contraception, sexual health screening, services available in the town and we will be giving out free condoms.”
Currently the sexual health service is delivered in Doncaster from Doncaster Royal Infirmary and East Laith Gate House, East Laith Gate.
