SEXUAL offences have increased by 24.2 per cent in the area compared with the same period last year.
The figures for the borough of Doncaster, including Mexborough and Conisbrough, was contained in a South Yorkshire Police Authority report. They related to the period between April 1 to October 25 2012, compared to the same period in the previous year. Police said 24 different categories covered sex offences.
