People taking part are invited to wear a festive jumper or top to school or work that they have either bought, decorated themselves or even knitted in exchange for a donation to Save the Children.

High street shops such as Primark, Marks and Spencer and New Look all carry a selection of Yuletide yarns.

The recommended donation is either £1 or £2 and you can find out more by visiting Christmas Jumpers - Save the Children
