PUPILS helped unveil a new look supermarket.

Youngsters from Long Toft Primary School in Stainforth visited the new-look Asda superstore, which was formerly a Netto, in Station Road.

They were given an Asda gift card to share with their classmates following the unveiling which they used to buy French goodies as part of a school topic.

Sue Smith, parent support advisor at the school, said: “It was a real honour to be asked to open the store and the pupils really enjoyed themselves.

“The gift card came in handy too as we were able to purchase food for our French-themed event.”
