Children at Edlington Children’s Centre got up close with all things wild.

Sam’s Safari dropped in on youngsters with a variety of species including snakes, polecats and crested grecos.

All the mini beasts could be handled and touched by the youngsters, giving them the chance to feel fur and scaley skin.

Carol Rothwell, from the children’s centre said: “It’s great for the children to see all different animals.”
