A DONCASTER MP is urging Doncaster residents to back a campaign to stop violence against women.
Doncaster Central MP Rosie Winterton is supporting White Ribbon Day - a national event which will be held on Sunday and bids to stop abuse happening to women.
She said: “Children need to be taught from a young age the value of building healthy relationships, respect and responsibility.
“I hope schools and workplaces in Doncaster will support the White Ribbon campaign.”
The campaign currently works in schools, workplaces and other organisations throughout the UK to raise awareness, improve understanding, and provide services to help reduce the overall incidence of domestic violence.
