Robber threatens woman with weapon

A WOMAN was threatened by a weapon-wielding robber as she went to get cash.

The woman was targeted when she got out of a car, with two other people inside, and went to a cash machine in Heavens Walk, Doncaster, on Sunday afternoon.

The robber approached and threatened her with a weapon demanding she give him money.

He then left on a motorbike with a quantity of cash.

No-one was injured following the incident which happened at around 3.50pm.

The robber is described as white and about 5ft 7in to 6ft tall. He was wearing black gloves and dark coloured clothing.

Police officer Della Leasley said: “Incidents of this nature are rare. Enquiries are progressing well but I am appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.”
