The Royal British Legion has officially announced the arrangements for this year’s Remembrance Day parade and Armistice commemoration.
The Royal British Legion, supported by other organisations, will assemble at the Memorial Stone and Garden, Group Dwellings, Albion Hill, Epworth.
The parade will then proceed to the Methodist Church, High Street, via Albion Hill and Market Place, arriving at 10.50am.
As both commemorations fall on Sunday November 11, there will be no separate Armistice day commemoration in the Market Place
Constructiion is set to start on the new memorial garden on Albion Hill following the securing of £3,000 from North Lincolcnshire Council to fund the project.
Proposals are now being drawn up for a dedication ceremony and official unveiling with details expected to be announced over the next few weeks.
There will be new seating, planting areas and a flag pole, with the garden on the grassed area around the memorial.
