TRAIN services between York and Doncaster have returned to normal following disruption caused by a level crossing problem this morning, according to National Rail.

DELAYS between York and Doncaster have been reduced to 15 minutes but are expected until further notice.
Only southbound trains are affected.
Engineering work between Doncaster and Scunthorpe is taking place throughout this morning and a rail replacement bus service for passengers is now being operated.
TRAIN passengers have faced travel delays this morning after disruption on two major routes around Doncaster.
A problem at a level crossing near Fenwick has delayed trains running on the East Coast mainline between Doncaster, Selby and York.
Services have been running late by around 30 minutes.
East Coast bosses hope trains will be running normally within the next hour.
And commuters travelling between Doncaster and Scunthorpe have also faced disruption due to emergency engineering works.
Trains between the two towns have been delayed by 50 minutes this morning.
