TRAIN services between Doncaster and Wakefield have returned to normal following emergency engineering work on the East Coast mainline this morning.
EMERGENCY engineering work is causing havoc for Doncaster train passengers travelling on the East Coast mainline this morning.
Trains between Doncaster and Wakefield Westgate have ground to a halt because of work being carried out on the line near Bentley.
All Northern Rail services stopping at Bentley and Adwick have been suspended, while East Coast trains between London Kings Cross and Leeds are being diverted.
Replacement buses are running between Doncaster and Wakefield, calling at all stations.
The disruption is expected to continue until 1pm.
