Pupils praised for their efforts

Four pupils from Denaby St Albans Catholic School were presented with a certificate in recognition of the school’s efforts when they visited the Diocese of Hallam to dontate £209 raised for the Good Shepherd fund. Pupils raised the money through a host of activities, including a bring and buy book sale and Pancake Mardi Gras. Deputy head Diane Wakefield said: “The whole school was involved in raising the money. We are very grateful for the effort for their effor and contributions made by our school, community and local businesses.

“I am so proud of all the effort the children have put in to raising the money. I know the children really enjoyed taking part in all the fundraising activities and helping to raise money for other less fortunate children who need our help and support.”
