Doncaster Little Theatre is celebrating its 17th Anniversary with the production of Punk Rock from the 14-16 of March 2012 at 7.30pm.

Punk Rock follows a group of sixth-formers preparing for their mock A-levels and nearing the end of their school lives; coming ever so closer to adulthood in the controversial world. Written by Simon Stephens; winner of the ‘Best New Play award’ at the 2009 Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland.

Originally produced and performed at the Lyric Hammersmith, Doncaster Little Theatre is proud to present Punk Rock , for the first time, in Doncaster.

The cast and backstage crew are mostly aged 17 just like the characters in the play; the cast is a combination of the youth theatre and adult actors.

This production is a wonderful example of this theatre’s ability to engage all age groups, many of the actors in this play would have only just been born when the theatre opened in 1995.
