Young families in the Dearne were given advice on how to avoid dangers in the home as part of an activity session.

Parents joined their children for the safety session as part of the Toddlertime group meeting on Tuesday mornings at Wath Library.

Representatives from the Child Accident Prevention Trust spoke to parents about the benefits of using products which contain a bittering agent which causes children to spit out any liquids they should not consume. Families were also encouraged to take a Bitrex taste test.
