DETECTIVES investigating a break-in at a rail depot where a crook stole diesel have released CCTV images to help its search.

The depot at Adwick Junction was broken into and 500 litres of fuel stolen from a generator on Wednesday, March 28.

British Transport Police has launched an investigation and images of a man they would like to trace in connection with the incident.

Det Cons Ian Grice, the investigating officer, said: “We believe the theft took place around 7.50pm.

“We have undertaken initial enquiries in an attempt to identify this man as we believe he can assist us with our enquires but to no avail, if you know who the man is I would urge you to contact us.”
