An investigation is underway into the cause of a flat fire in Doncaster.

The blaze broke out in a flat in Hexthorpe Road, Hexthorpe, at around 6.15pm last night.

When firefighters arrived the flat was empty

Two crews from Doncaster and one from Edlington responded to calls about the blaze.

They spent around 90 minutes at the scene.
