A CCTV image of a man that officers believe could hold useful information about a reported burglary in Hatfield last week has been released today (Thursday 17 December). At around 11.30am on Friday 11 December, it is reported that an unknown man forced entry into a property in Vicarage Close, Hatfield, smashing the rear patio door and causing damage.''A number of items were taken during the burglary including a jewellery box and its contents. Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to trace over a burglary in Doncaster.

A house was broken into in Vicarage Close, Hatfield, at 11.30am on Friday, December 11 after the rear patio door was smashed to gain entry.

A number of valuables, including a jewellery box and its contents were stolen.

Police believe the man in the CCTV image may hold vital information.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
