Police appeal over Thurnscoe assault

POLICE have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with an alleged assault at Thurnscoe.

The assault is believed to have taken place on June 28 this year, at approximately 4.25am.

A taxi was hired by three passengers at Wakefield to take them to Thurnscoe. On arrival there, it is understood the taxi driver was assaulted and his takings stolen.

Police would like to identify and speak to the two men in the images, as they may hold vital information to assist with their investigations.

They would also like to identify and speak to a third man. He is described as white and in his mid 20s, about 5ft 11ins tall and of a stocky build. He has a shaved head with a tattoo on the back of his neck with stars in the design. He also has tattoos on both arms.
