A THEATRE production began a tour of schools in South Yorkshire this week which aims to spread a road safety message.

The production, called Dummy Run, concentrates on a character called Jack and follows the dangers he faces every day on his journey to and from school.

South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership Manager, Ken Wheat, said “We will continue to find the best ways to engage with our communities, particular children and young people.”

Around 3, 500 students will see the play.
