Staff from a medical trust hosted a stand to support National Parents’ Week at Central Children’s Centre in Balby.
The Devonshire health visiting team held the event to inform families in the central area of Doncaster about the service they provide for children, young people and families.
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) family support worker Jeanette Lindley said: “Parents’ Week is an opportunity to celebrate the vital contribution of parents to society and showcase local services that support families.
“Our health visiting team talked to parents about their role in the community, as well as providing information about the healthy child programme, which is a series of reviews, screening tests, vaccinations and information that supports parents and helps them to give their child the best chance of staying healthy and well.”
National Parents’ Week is organised annually by the Family and Parenting Institute, an independent charity
