TWO autistic students have raised £700 to help pay for college equipment.

Scawthorpe’s Ben Greaves, 18, and 20-year-old Andrew Batty, from Cantley, have collected all of their sponsorship money after completing the Sheffield half marathon alongside college tutor Dave Clark.

The money they raised from their 13.1 mile trek is being put towards buying equipment for their common room at Doncaster Deaf College, based in Leger Way.

Over 5,000 people took part in the event.
