Outspoken reality television star Katie Hopkins is in Doncaster today to back UKIP leader Nigel Farage at his party’s annual conference.
The controversial columnist, who has angered many with her views, posed for selfies as she arrived for the conference at Doncaster Racecourse.
During Mr Farage’s speech she tweeted: “Farage going great guns. 4 million votes, 1 MP. But a relentless leader still very much at the helm. #UKIP15”
Hopkins first made a name for herself when appeared on television as a contestant on the third UK series of the reality television programme The Apprentice in 2007.
She has also appeared on I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here and writes a weekly column for The Sun with her views on issues such as class, migrants, race and other contentious issues regularly putting her in the headlines.
She has been described in several media outlets as a “professional troll” while The Sun billed her as “Britain’s most controversial columnist”.
