One of the great institutions of Donny nightlife enters a new era tomorrow.

Silver Street’s Biscuit Billy’s reopens following a fortnight’s closure for a refurb – but don’t expect things to look too different!

“We’re determined to preserve the traditions of the pub,” said new landlord Lance Jeffrey. “IT’s a huge part of a Doncaster’s nightlife and we want it to stay much as it is – we just want to make it better.”

The frontage of the pub will remain the same but as part of the revamp the ladies toilets have been extended and a complete new air-conditioning system has been fitted.

“We just want to make it more user-friendly,” Lance added.

The pub will feature a packed programme of events, including a Rotters nostalgia night on Sundays, with original DJ Chris Bennett, a karaoke prize night on Mondays, a singles night on Thursday and Friday and Saturdays devoted to Now That’s What I call a Party, which speaks for itself!
