rossington residents can sleep a little sounder following a police crackdown on nuisance off road biking.

Rossington Safer Neighbourhood Team acted on the issue after concerns were raised by residents at a Partners and Communities Together meeting.

The team have increased patrols in areas where off road bikes are ridden illegally and have secured funding for warning signs that are now displayed in the problem areas.

PCSO Joanne Abel said: “Residents have raised off road bikes as a problem in Rossington and we will continue to put measures in place to tackle this issue. The new signs will hopefully act as a deterrent and will be a good tool to assist in reducing this form of antisocial behaviour.”
