A PENSIONER was left with a fractured foot after being in a collision with a car.

A silver Nissan Micra, driven by a 20-year-old woman, was travelling along Warning Tongue Lane in Cantley towards Doncaster prior to the collision, when it is believed an 88-year-old woman, wearing dark clothing, was crossing the road 10m north of Gleneagles Drive.

The Cantley pensioner suffered fractures to her foot and was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary following the collision which happened around 5.40pm on November 1. The Micra driver, of Bessacarr, was not injured.
