A crash on North Bridge, Doncaster, on the afternoon of November 20.

A Doncaster road has re-opened following a collision earlier this afternoon.

North Bridge in the town centre was closed for around an hour, and a Proper Pastry Company van was removed from the scene shortly before it re-opened at 2pm.

A police car had been parked in the outbound lane to prevent traffic from using the road, and buses also had to be diverted.

A spokesman for First said: “Due to a RTC on north bridge we are currently diverting services for the north of Doncaster, outbound only over St Georges Bridge.”

“We do expect this to cause traffic congestion throughout Doncaster.”
